EWF X Pasifika Storytellers Collective: You didn’t civilise us, you syphilised us

Each year, EWF X platforms emerging artists with community action and collective art at the heart of their practices. This year, we’re stoked to team up with Pasifika Storytellers Collective as they present some of this city’s brightest emerging curators and creatives via EWF’s website.

Join members of the Pasifika Storytellers Collective as they unravel Western concepts of Pasifika representation in creative media. Through a shared group discussion, artists from the collective will touch on film, television, books, social media and video games to share their perspectives on how media representation (or misrepresentation) affects their place in society as creatives and beyond.
