Ruby is an poet and Geography student living on stolen land in Naarm. She grew up in the peaceful chaos of wild oceans, families and rainforests. She loves language and critical theory almost as much as she loves music and sunlight hungry leaves. She attempts to take an ecofeminist approach to advocating for social and environmental justice, acknowledging that she is a beneficiary of ongoing colonialism and that this is and always will be Aboriginal land. Today her interdisciplinary practice takes shape through climate research, writing, drawing, and documentary mark-making.
