Marisa Wikramanayake is a Sri Lankan born, Australia based freelance writer, journalist and editor and an elected delegate for the union MEAA. She has written for SBS, the South China Morning Post and Books & Publishing, and edited award winning books for authors like Amanda Jay. Her book Sedition was longlisted for the 2018 Kill Your Darlings Unpublished Manuscript Award and she was the inaugural KSP-Varuna Foundation Fellow in 2018. She is working on a crime fiction novel Gin & Tonic set in Sri Lanka.
