Kath Duncan is an artist, writer, curator, producer, performer and researcher. Kath has a background in journalism and teaching communications and holds degrees from the University of Technology Sydney, Australian Film Television and Radio School, and Southern Cross University. She co-founded the all disabled, mostly queer cabaret troupe, Quippings, and produces and performs regularly with them and with anyone else with ground-breaking ideas and practices. Kath is an in-demand speaker and panellist, and is currently Research Associate/Chairperson with the Melbourne University/Arts Access Victoria ARC Linkage research project, Disability and the Performing Arts in Australia: Beyond the Social Model.
