Kat Clarke is a proud Wotjobaluk writer, artist and curator from the Wimmera. Being an active advocate within her own community and Land Council she holds strong relationships with multiple Victorian communities and groups. Kat developed her craft learning the ways of her culture from community and Elders. Acknowledging her teachings and incorporating her own interpretations that speak through different forms of her creative practices she is able to advocate for her mob and consult with mainstream, industry and community organisations. Currently she is involved in many creative new writing projects and is the Assistant First Nations Curator at ACMI.
