Eileen Ormsby is a lawyer, journalist and author of two true-crime books: Silk Road (Pan MacMillan) and The Darkest Web (Allen & Unwin). Her work has appeared across a wide range of media, including The Age/SMH, VICE, the Guardian, The Australian, Kill Your Darlings, the Griffith Review and others. Eileen is considered one of the world’s foremost experts on the “dark web”, which has led to numerous documentary appearances, as well as work as a consultant on TV shows, including CBS’ 48 Hours. Lately she has become a freelance script writer for the Casefile True Crime podcast.
