Janiru Liyanage is a 15-year-old school student and Pushcart Prize / Best of the Net Awards nominated poet, with recent work appearing or featured internationally in/on [PANK], Frontier Poetry, MUZZLE Magazine, DIAGRAM, The Poetry Society, Wildness Journal, Cordite Poetry Review, The Cardiff Review, Narrative Northeast, and several other places. He reads for Palette Poetry. He’s a two-year winner of the national Dorothea Mackellar Poetry Awards and Sydney finalist of the APS. He’s been featured on The Project, Namoi Valley Independent, and The Minister’s Media Centre, among other places. He’s a Sri Lankan Sinhalese immigrant currently living in Sydney.
