Tayi Tibble is an indigenous writer and poet from Wellington, New Zealand (Ngati Porou/Te Whanau a Apanui). Her work has been published widely in a variety of places including Poetry Magazine and Fashion Quarterly. In 2017 completed her Masters in Creative Writing from the International Institute of Modern Letters where she was the recipient of the Adam Foundation Prize. Her first book, Poukahangatus was published by Victoria University Press in 2018 and is currently shortlisted for the Ockham New Zealand Book Awards. She was also named one of NZ’s Most Fabulous people of 2018 by Viva Magazine, which was dope.
