Sanaz Fotouhi is the director of the Asia Pacific Writers and Translators. She holds a PhD in English literature from UNSW. Sanaz is interested in diasporic narratives. Her book on the topic The Literature of the Iranian Diaspora: Meaning and Identity since the Islamic Revolution was published in 2015. Her work has appeared in anthologies in Australia and Hong Kong, including in The Southerly, Griffith Review, and the Guardian UK and Jakarta Post. Sanaz is one of the founding members of the Persian Film Festival in Australia as well as co-producer of mullti-award winning documentary Love Marriage in Kabul.
