Prema Arasu is an Australian-born emerging writer and doctoral student in Creative Writing at the University of Western Australia, in Boorloo (Perth), where they are also a Teaching Fellow in English and Literary Studies. Their writing explores the metaphysical limits of the human body, gender, queer ontologies, fantasy, and cognitive estrangement. They have published both creative and academic works across the fields of horror, science fiction, postmodernism, fantasy, and metafiction. Prema is involved in several projects aimed at making the WA arts and community more inclusive.
