Peo Michie

Peo Michie is a Birraranga/Melbourne based illustrator, comic artist and zine maker. She’s most recognisable via her online social media presence and her freelance commissions for magazines and organisations such as The Lifted Brow, Voiceworks and Queerspace. She’s known locally for her zines Word of a Black Teenage Lesbian and Spooky Babes. Peo’s digital illustrations and comics usually focus on queer femme characters, celebrating their expressive, fashionable, vulnerable and sexy selves.
