Madeleine Kerr is an emerging writer and theatre maker born and raised in the western suburbs of Melbourne. She survived an Honours degree from the University of Melbourne in 2017 and learnt everything she knows about making theatre from the student theatre community. Madeleine hopes to make theatre that explores queerness, mess and bodily experiences. She mostly makes work with fellow Footscray kid Karla Livingstone Pardy as part of OPHELIA/MACHINE Theatre. Their debut show premiered at Fringe Festival 2018 and won the Best Emerging Writer’s Award.
