Lisa Dempster

Lisa Dempster is the Executive Manager of Public Participation at Yarra Plenty Regional Library, overseeing an annual program of 7000 events across ten library sites focused on learning, reading and public health outcomes. Previously she has led the Melbourne Writers Festival, Emerging Writers’ Festival, Digital Writers’ Festival, Jaipur Literature Festival Melbourne, and was an Asialink fellow at Ubud Writers & Readers Festival. She also wrote a book, Neon Pilgrim.
