Julia Rose Bak is a queer, takatāpui writer from Boorloo (so called Perth), based now in Narrm (so called Melbourne), Australia. Their writing focuses on trauma, connection, collective healing, and their experiences growing up with a chronic illness. Outside of writing, Julia is a facilitator, telephone support worker and full-time student. Their other interests include reading memoirs, tending to their indoor plants, learning German and raising their kitten.
