Saint Jorge/Georgia Kartas is a writer and performance poet whose work explores feminism, sustainability, and the esoteric. In 2018 her first novella was published in The People’s Library, Tasmania, and she completed an artist residency at Centre Pompadour, France. She has performed at Counihan Gallery, the Emerging Writers’ Festival, the Students of Sustainability Conference, and Dark Mofo. Georgia is currently working on her first poetry collection, ‘you wanna be famous? talk about your ethnicity and tack on some sex’, a series of modern-day experiences interpreted through Greek mythology.
