Gayle Kennedy

From Wongaibon clan of NSW. I have published 13 books. In 2005 Koori Girl Goes Shoppin was shortlisted for the David Unaipon Award and went on to win in 2006 with Me, Antman & Fleabag. It was shortlisted for a Victorian Premier’s Literary Award, Deadly Award and commended in the Kate Challis RAKA Award.. Articles and short stories have been published in The Australian Women’s Weekly, Readers Digest, Australian Author, Phoenix Educational Review, Australian Writer, SMH and Edinburgh Review. I’ve presented at the Sydney Writers Festival, Brisbane Writers Festival, Wordstorm and more. I’m a peer reviewer for OZCO.
