Frances Chapman

Frances Chapman is a writer from Sydney. Born in England, she spent her childhood pinballed between continents. Several years as a journalist and social researcher gave her a healthy curiosity about people’s stories before she started out as a freelance writer in 2015. Her debut novel Stars Like Us is out through Hardie Grant Egmont on July 7. The novel won the Hardie Grant Egmont Ampersand Prize in 2018, and the Varuna-Black Inc Publisher Introduction Program in 2017.
