First Stage

Four new works, four new playwrights and a fresh take on work for the stage. In collaboration with Melbourne Theatre Company, four emerging playwrights have developed short, sharp works over a series of intensive workshops with MTC’s Literary Department. Join us as actors perform dramatic readings of the emerging playwrights’ new works.

How to attend this event

First Stage is a live reading event, hosted via Zoom.

To ensure the event stays private, ticket holders will be emailed a Zoom link and password 30 minutes prior to the event start time. Please check your email (including that pesky junk email folder).

Ticket bookings will cease 1 hour before the event starts.
