Ben Kolaitis

Ben Kolaitis is the Emerging Technology Team Leader for City of Melbourne Libraries. Dedicated to enabling communities and individuals through events and initiatives that utilise creative and emerging technologies, Ben manages the Makerspaces located at Library at the Dock and Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre. In these facilities Ben implements, coordinates and manages technological facilities that utilise equipment such as laser cutters, sewing machinery, crafting tools, 3d printers, electronics components and media labs. The aim of these facilities are to strengthen self directed and community learning through creative and problem solving initiatives.
