Kat Clay is a writer and photographer from Melbourne. Her short story Lady Loveday Investigates won three prizes at the 2018 Scarlet Stiletto Awards, including the Kerry Greenwood Prize for Best Malice Domestic. In 2017, she was longlisted for the CWA Debut Dagger award for her unpublished novel, Victorianoir. She is the author of weird-noir novella Double Exposure and her writing has been published in SQ Mag, Crimson Streets, The Victorian Writer, Literary Traveler and Weird Fiction Review, some of which has been nominated for the Aurealis, Ditmar and Shadows Awards.
