Emily Munro-Harrison

Emily is a Wiradjuri woman, who grew up and lives on unceded Kulin Country in Narrm.

A member of the Blak Writers Group in Melbourne, her creative writing includes poetry, micro-fiction and creative non-fiction. Her interests include youth justice, gender, place and Indigeneity.

Emily has previously participated in Collective Spirit: First Nation Poetry Residency, the Emerging Writers Festival, and Yirramboi. She has published poetry and academic writing and stories.

Some other stuff she does when she isn’t writing includes running a cultural support program in prison, trying to finish a PhD, working as a researcher, and being a mum.
